We are seeking a mid-level experienced social media specialist who will lead in growing our community engagement and building brand affinity across our channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and Twitch.

This social media specialist will develop a strong understanding of HyperX’s brand voice and will represent our voice in all social platforms. We are looking to create meaningful/deep relationships with our existing community and continue to build and grow our audience. This person will be responsible for creating and managing the online voice of the brand and building brand awareness within the online community.

Responsibilities include:

Develop a community strategy focused on leveraging our established 1M+ fan base, with a goal of fostering a deeper relationship and affinity between the audience and HyperX.

Define what value we can provide, and why our community should keep coming back for more.

Create and curate community engagement opportunities, such as gaming news, leveraging our influencers, memes, giveaways, and/or trending topics that drive community engagement and participation.

Be an active participant and represent the HyperX voice across platforms by actively interacting, responding, engagement and messaging.

Funnel back content feedback and ideation from the community to the social team & product teams & beyond. Analyze brand sentiments for learnings.

Work closely with marketing teams to align on promotional efforts on social while being mindful of messaging to the audience and using our brand voice. •Stay up to date with the latest in Culture, Gaming, Technology and Esports.

•Through community and brand building activities, you’ll help drive our audience growth and engagement metrics. It’s not just about the follower counts, but it’s about creating a passionate fanbase.

Prioritize building community, leveraging these channels: (Discord, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, YouTube)

Able to occasionally work weekends as needed for special events.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in social media or community management

Current in-depth knowledge of social media channels, best practices, and emerging trends.

Strong copywriter.

•Able to adapt to the different writing styles depending on the goal

Ability to think creatively, as well as propose and research new ideas for content

Natural researcher. Has knowledge of the newest industry and internet trends. Ability to be flexible to change and work in different paces

Avid gamer and citizen of the internet

Ability to be a self-starter and work independently AND in a team.

Knowledge of social media analytics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Gaming knowledge highly preferred
