HP Scitex develops highly sophisticated multidisciplinary systems including presses, inks, HW and SW and everything around it in terms of full digital and physical workflow.

Responsibilities

  • General: reporting to Program Section Manager
  • Technical:
    • Managing the Mechanical team in the R&D department
    • End to end responsibility of the HW design from definition to execution, including design and performance validation
    • Holistic technical responsibility, starting from supporting requests and needs coming from the current customers to new design supporting future products
    • Leading NPI (New Product Introduction) processes with Engineering department
    • Leading ME team plans according to PLC in alignment with Program plans
    • Managing ME team budget
  • People management:
    • People management in the ME group, including ME designers, ME System Engineers, Draftsman and technicians
    • People’s growth management
    • Team members recruitment, when needed
    • Technical knowledge buildup in the team
    • Identification of talents in the team and maximizing team’s performance
    • Team goals management in alignment with R&D and Section goals.

Requirements

  • ~4 years previous people management experience – must
  • 5 years of multidisciplinary extensive experience- must, printing industry -an advantage
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical engineering, MSc is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, people oriented
  • Innovative, creative and open minded – no limits approach
