We're in search of a creative Full Stack Web Developer who's a jack of all trades, transitioning seamlessly between front and backend coding. You'll need to be fluent in creating single-page web applications and be experienced with UI/UX design. As a Full Stack Developer, you'll need to be a whiz with programming with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java, and know how to effectively create website foundations using front-end frameworks, backend REST APIs, and a relational database. The power of our site's responsiveness and functionality will be in your hands, so you'll need to be organized, communicative, and detail-oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop visually appealing front end website architecture using Angular Material and other Angular UI Components, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code
  • Design and improve the user interactions and the user experience of web apps
  • Develop relational database schemas
  • Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
  • Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
  • Strategize organizational direction on emerging technology platforms and communicate the effectiveness to executive stakeholders
  • Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors
  • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
  • Keep job knowledge up-to-date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations

Education and Experience Required:

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 4-6 years experience.

  • Java
  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • AngularJS (or experienced with other JavaScript frameworks and willing to learn Angular)
  • XML (XSD, XPath)
  • SQL
  • Linux
  • Git
  • Working experience as a Full Stack Developer.
