HP Indigo develops digital presses for the commercial and Labels & packaging industry. Indigo's unique technology of ink transfer under electrical field, thermal and mechanical stresses, to the printed substrate provides unparalleled print quality in the digital print industry.
As an experimental physicist you will Work hand in hand with chemists, ink manufacturing process engineers and project managers in order to bring next generation’s inks.
Design, execute and summarize experiments in order to promote the development of HP Indigo’s future inks.
Main Objectives & responsibilities
Understand indigo technology, focusing on ink-Printing press interaction
Build a work plan, follow up on progress and report on the status
Design experiments ,execute, analyze and present the results efficiently
Understand Influence of ink formulation and manufacturing process on print performance
Study and optimize printing process parameters and materials to achieve best in class print quality
Provide meaningful feedback of ink performance on press with recommendations.

Job Requirements:
Physicist\engineering\ or equivalent – Must (advanced degrees preferred)
Highly technical with hands on experience -Must
Experience using analyzing tools (JMP, MATLAB, etc.)- Must.
Previous experience in experimental physics- highly recommended.
Ability to deliver a message to large audience
Ability to work as part of a team with different disciplines
