HP Innovation Center of Excellence seeks for two digital business interns to assist the development of China omnichannel strategy, identification and execution of innovative pilot projects in China, and implementation of best practices for global rollout.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the industry trends, competitive landscape and customer behaviors, and generate insights on emerging business models, including but not limited to new e-commerce, omnichannel retailing, livestreaming, social commerce, digital ecosystem, big data, new retail technologies...etc.
  • Maintain a consistent understanding of market dynamics, especially between China and rest of the world. Surface opportunities for business growth by leveraging best practices from China, synthesizing insights into focused recommendations and guidance for future execution.
  • Support the implementation of data analytics projects to drive improved financial returns across various go-to-market vehicles.
  • Communicate findings by preparing data analysis and polished presentations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated from bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, statistics, business analytics, marketing or any related field. MBA from top tier university is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Practical or classroom experience preparing and presenting business plans in both Chinese and English.
  • Previous internship in management consulting / market research / data analysis roles in multinational environment
  • Strong passion and intellectual curiosity in omnichannel go-to-market.
