Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. Acts as a project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently identifies solutions to common and complex issues within a project, by applying strong understanding of supply chain.
  • Acts as a peer leader on a cross functional project team.
  • Owns decision-making within projects and contributes to strategic supply chain solutions to managers.
  • Acts as a resource to other business units for issues on supply chain.
  • Lead cross functional regional project teams (logistics operation, procurement, customs, process engineering, business units, SC, IT, and logistics service providers).
  • Works in collaboration to develop solutions for a project, including managing complex issues.
  • Interprets data to identify major conclusions, formulate summaries, and develops recommendations that optimize performance, create new processes and execution strategies to meet supply chain business objectives.
  • Applies project governance and communication methodologies for stakeholders and steering board members decision making.  
  • Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain issues.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • Project management trainings or certification.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Very strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated team and project management skills.
  • Supply chain business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple business units.
  • Ability to independently construct and present deliverables, recommendations, and communications models.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive way.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in English and local language.
