Job description:

  • Responsibility on the printing process development of tomorrow's HP Indigo engines to meet print quality and cost targets
  • Study and optimize process\materials parameters to achieve superior print quality performances
  • Investigate multi-disciplinary interactions in printing process: design, perform, analyze, and summarize tests
  • Design, perform, analyze and summarize experiments involving multi-disciplinary knowledge and Share findings with relevant stakeholders
  • Convert marketing requirements into engineering requirements, based on theory and experiments, understand the physical mechanisms and define critical parameters
  • Develop and improve quantitative measurements methodologies
  • Develop physical modelling to characterize systems and interactions between subsystems
  • Build work plan, follow up on progress and report on status

Required skills, experience, and education:

  • Formal education:
    • BSc Physics or engineering – must
    • MSc for engineering or Physics and above - Advantage
  • Prior experience (3-5 years) as a researcher / engineer in multidisciplinary system – advantage
  • Modelling and algorithm development experience – advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both in Hebrew and English
  • Leadership abilities, wide perspective, well organized, independent and with can do attitude
