HP’s Personalisation and incubation business (PIB) works to deliver large scale cloud solutions that enable on demand manufacturing of personalised goods around the world. Our products lead the market with a strong focus on technology, scalability and security.  We are working to disrupt industries such as publishing, by bringing to physical world, personalised content that today only exist in a digital way. As part of this disruption we help Print Service Providers streamline the manufacture of books, business cards, packaging, photos, posters, signage and almost anything else that can be printed.

As a Senior full stack Engineer you will help to deliver scalable, high-quality front and back-end business applications. You will be responsible for the development of new ideas and helping expand our range of services. We look for excellence and continuous adoption of cutting edge technology in everything we do, including our deliverables, processes, tools. We release several times a day, which drives each developer to have strong commitment, and ability to follow, DevOps processes and personally own the quality of each activity through the release of the feature. We work under an agile philosophy, so we are always ready to respond to new demands from the market or from our customers . We use a suite of new technologies, including (but not limited to):  MongoDB,  Node.js, Vue.js, Docker.

What we are seeking

You are an exceptional developer with the ability to pick things up quickly and to see the bigger picture, capable of breaking into pieces and drive the delivery. Previous roles have made you wonder if you’re actually making a difference, and you swore the next job would be different. You keep up to date with the latest software development practices, you care about writing good code, and you continually improve your skills in the craft of software development. You thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining a quality approach to software development.

Requirements:

·       At least 5 years of experience in front end Javascript (ideally Vue.js)

·       Expert OR intermediate at server-side Javascript (Node.js)

·       At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript and related cloud technologies

·       IT Graduate with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 

·       Experience and comprehensive understanding of web technologies

·       Experience with databases (RDBMS good, NoSQL better) 

·       Familiarity with SOA (microservices/message buses/etc)

·       Familiarity with cloud services (Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure) 

·       Experience in both developing and leading small delivery teams

·       Capability to define technical requirements and explain them to other developers

·       Work with product managers on translating biz demands into technology concepts

·       Ability to work with virtual teams

·       Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
