The HP in-house media team (Ziji by HP) is responsible for planning, buying and maintaining programmatic and biddable ad campaigns in multiple DSPs and Social platforms. Ziji is expanding to Asia Market in 2021, and we are looking for energy, teamwork, expertise, a willingness to educate and desire to elevate the performance not just of HP media, but our team. The Budget Specialist supports all financial aspects of running this internal agency, from collecting media budgets from marketing teams, raising POs, reconciliating invoices, gathering financial data to perform financial analysis and reporting to ensuring our vendors are paid on time. 

Responsibilities:

  • End to end budget management for digital media execution - collect / update media budgets from marketing managers and create central media activities / spends (Purchase Orders)
  • Participate in media reconciliation process, matching of income and expenses, data extraction and analysis
  • Support and manage budget reconciliation documents, work closely with marketing teams, finance and accounts payable team
  • Follow-up with responsible teams for swift invoices processing and payment
  • Review and manage various processes and procurement / finance documents (POs, IO, SOWs, Invoices, Alliance POE)
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing organization to ensure co-op dollars are allocated and proof of execution collected
  • Track and report quarterly actuals upon completion of media team reconciliation ensuring accurate budget management within financial targets
  • Collaborate with Programmatic & Biddable media buying team, along with internal HP finance to develop best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business or economics
  • 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst and / or budget management
  • Have a general understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and elements of financial statement and able to apply them on a non-complex transaction level.
  • Know the important finance systems relevant for the area (LH, Cadency, EDW, Smart buy)and is able to perform standard transactions.
  • knowledge of marketing activities will be an added advantage
