As part of the People Development team, this critical HR Program Manager role will report in the Customer Engagement & Insights team leader and will be responsible for driving strategic programs from across the People Development organization. These programs will have pan-HP impact and exposure to a broad team of partners and stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. Passion for solving complex business issues complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors is key success factor for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads multiple large projects and programs with global and cross-organizational program teams on needs assessment, intervention selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous innovation and improvement of learning solutions and initiatives from the People Development organization.
  • Contributes to the development of strategy for projects and programs that impact multiple businesses.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives
  • Manages program lifecycle from strategy development to implementation.
  • Develops and or assists with development of new methods and processes for improving program operations.
  • Helps ensure alignment of program priorities with business and People Development strategies.
  • Stays abreast of current market or technology trends, provides guidance, consulting and expertise for other project/program managers as well as throughout the organization.
  • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree, advanced university degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 6-8 years experience, including managing large projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced project management and strong program management skills, PMP certification a plus.
  • Advanced facilitation and consulting skills.
  • Advanced business and strategic planning acumen.
  • Strong leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills, including competency in vendor management and cultural awareness.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive development plans.
