As a Manufacturing Engineer in Penang, Malaysia  you will:

  • Provide resolutions and implement engineering solutions to process/manufacturing issues by working closely with various work groups like Process Engineering, System Interaction Engineering (SIE), Customer Assurance (CA) and Supply Chain.
  • Engage R&D and Product Development team to enable New Products Introduction and Extensions
  • Drive and implement strong process control and quality system
  • Engage and drive solutions across HP value chains such as Supply Chain, Production, Tech Support and Contract Manufacturers.

Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Material or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent Analytical, Problems Solving and Project Management skills
  • Possess good skills in developing and implementing Quality Systems 
  • Good understanding of Quality Assurance and Process Control methodologies
  • Excellent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work under stress across functions
  • Proactive, innovative and self-motivating
  • Strong cross-cultural people and relationship management skills
  • Strong technical and analytical capability
  • Sense of responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Effective cross functional leadership skills
  • Systematic approach to problem solving
  • Growth mindset to bring the current team to the next level of competencies
  • Strong sense and focus on delivering high standard of product quality
