This position will join the Partner Operations organization on the Digital Platform. The successful candidate will manage the Alliance Program for the organization and focus on internal and external alliance partner engagement. External companies like Microsoft, AMD, Intel and engage with internal stakeholders like HP's Alliance team to build a unique digital co-syndication experience that promotes and the Partners business objectives. Works with in and with the Partner operations to help achieve business goals. To excel in this position, you must be self-driven and accustomed to digging into the details and driving innovative solutions forward. You should be known for seeing the big picture and enjoying the challenge of solving complex problems on a global scale. You are a strong project manager and understanding how HP partners sell products online would be an asset.
You will:
Build relationship with major internal and external clients. Negotiate contracts to support Alliance experiences. Work closely with the digital platforms team that manage Partner Portal and HP Sales Central to continually evolve and improve on the digital assets that make up your portfolio; Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements as they pertain to your projects with our agencies of record. Ensure HP has the technical functionality and capabilities required to meet business marketing objectives as it relates to the extensions in your portfolio.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
• Expert knowledge of and extensive experience working with channel online business models
• Experience managing external agencies.
• Strong project and budget management skills
• Excellent English Oral/Written communication
• Strong analytical skills, ability to spot trends and act on them

• Basic understanding of web development (enough knowledge to recommend a direction should a problem arise i.e. Site size constraints, difference between UI & backend data connections)
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelors in Business or Marketing
· 8 years project management experience
· Project Management, channel and/or partner marketing experience an asset
Responsibilities:
- Design and drive complex, integrated current and future solution offerings based on internal products/services and external partner offerings (typical partner profile is major global 1000 companies with operations in multiple regions in the enterprise business).
- Build optimal solution portfolio of partner through ongoing assessment of partner landscape, strategy, segment competitiveness, marketability and solution requirement and actively facilitate partner into HP portfolio offering.
- Identify and prioritize key ecosystem partners to drive technical and business alignment against HP product/services offerings.
- Recommend strategic partners HP should be focusing on on a regular basis to maximize revenue and margin.
- Establish internal and external network to promote, gain buy- in and expand partner program within and across HP.
- Strategize partner network and integrate partner into strategic HP initiative to drive market and platform direction.
- Additionally, may be assigned responsibilities at lower job levels.
Education and Experience Required:
- BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years marketing experience.
- Partner, sales, industry, channel experience or equivalent.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Mastery knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools and developing value proposition with partners.
- Mastery knowledge across marketing mix and vehicles for program execution with strategic partners
- In-depth experience in product/service/solution offering within industry and segments.
- Ability to interface effectively with executive management across different business functions.
- Excellent written/oral communications and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
- Excellent negotiating, influencing, consensus- building and conflict- resolution skills.
