As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating large and complex business opportunities with strategic clients. You will position HP Security as the supplier of choice within your accounts.

To meet and surpass your sales quota, you will drive the sales cycle to closure. You will meet the client’s requirements and be responsible for working in partnership with the relevant internal teams to deliver successful sales proposals. The chosen candidate will possess excellent positive energy and drive and a real passion to build business across a portfolio of accounts. You will have the ability to build operative relationships quickly and to find valuable business within each account immediately that can then be enhanced by leveraging internal resources. Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated experience with solution selling and/or consultative sales techniques.

  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies.

  • Must be adept at explaining how HP Enterprise Security offerings compare and contrast to and/or complement other security solutions such as AV, NGAV, EDR, Remote Browsers, Sandboxes, etc.

  • Proven and noteworthy experience developing relationships with enterprise senior stakeholders.

  • A capacity for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.

  • Ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levels.

  • Outstanding presentation, written, verbal and closing skills.

  • Strong time management, organizational and resolution offering skills.

  • Self-motivated ability to work unassisted and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.

  • Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company.

  • Develops and nurtures senior mgmt. or executive- level relationships with the customer.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First Level University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Typically 8 – 12 years relevant business experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Identify, develop and execute account strategy to close new business opportunities and expanding revenue with customers across the assigned region cooperatively.

  • Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.

  • Target and gain access to decision makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory.

  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant prospect information using HP CRM x

  • Ability to build & manage strong customer relationship at the executive level.

  • Excellent influence & negotiation skill.

  • Ability to apply business management, financial concepts & contracts knowledge to understand business needs and develop recommendations.

  • Ability to understand an issue or problem to develop & implement a corrective action plan.

  • Applies appropriate technical knowledge and methods to resolve very complex business issues. Ability to guide, build & manage a cross cultural, cross tower, cross business team for effective & efficient customer support.

  • Ability to proactively & effectively manage risk on high to very high-risk projects.

  • Coaches & mentors experts & specialist ADM Develops & consistently applies Quality & Continuous Improvement Plans.

  • Ability to develop & present high impact message to executive level management.

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & presentation with the capability to represent HP at external customer & industry events.

  • Industry sector knowledge (finance, manufacturing, etc.).
