We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Solution Architect to manage & design strategic solutions in ServiceNow and it environments. The IT Architect will be part of ServiceNow development group in the HPI IT organization. You will be responsible for creating technical solutions, giving technical guidance, and mentoring for a technical WW group of developers and professionals.
The HP Indigo Service Now instance is a key strategical application of the Service organization that enables customers and employees interact and manage with customer’s support. It is a key platform to enhance future customer support interactions and expand the usage of customers self-service. Future challenges include, integrating Service Now more tightly with other HP units and systems, and expanding service capabilities with other solutions, off-the-shelf software embedding and full tailored services.
To be successful in this role you should be results oriented, with analytical skills, have a positive approach and great interpersonal skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as technical architect involved in ServiceNow software development activities.
- Lead technical design and implementation of complex multisystem solutions that integrate ServiceNow with HP corporate assets (in-prem and cloud base) and take use of other cloud-based services.
- Engage with other HP IT & Business units and stakeholders across the globe, including networking, Cyber Security and other global architects, and technical resources.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and designs. Support product owners and internal customers by using existing technical possibilities as a solution for their needs.
- Create technical & Assets roadmap for the service organization.
- Build a solution in an agile methodology, split the project into minimal-viable products (MVP) and write technical epics and stories to JIRA together with Product Owners.
- Be up to date with ServiceNow capabilities, future enhancements, share best practices to the scrum teams and act as consult for the technical area
- Be trustable mentor for the technical team, be the go-to person for developers to seek help and guidance
Skills & Education
- Experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and architect solution designs
- Experience in solution design and implantation both on cloud (AWS, Azure) & on-prem platforms.
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript
- Java knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with relational databases and networks designs
- Experience in Test Driven Development – preferred ServiceNow frameworks, Selenium advantage
- Experience in enterprise architecture and working in corporates is an advantage
- Fluent English – write advanced technical documents, communicate fluently also with non-native English speakers
- B.Sc degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent – Advantage
